Charge Policy

It is the policy of Madison County Schools to allow all students to charge meals when they have forgotten their meal money.  Negative balances are to be paid by the last student day of the school year.  No charges are allowed the month of May, to enable everyone time to clear debt.  In May, Pk-8 students without breakfast or lunch money will be offered an alternate meal consisting of Cereal and Milk for breakfast and PB&J or Cheese sandwich, fruit and milk for lunch.  No alternate meal is provided to students in grades 9-12.
