About Construction and Facilities

The Construction and Facilities Department takes pride in their work because they know what they do on a daily basis impacts the learning experience of the students in Madison County Schools.  The Construction and Facilities Department uses this sense of responsibility to mold the department's attitude, direction and values.  The Construction and Facilities Department maintains 27 school sites constructed between 1917 and 2009 consisting of 993 acres and 2,756,112 square feet of floor space.

To construct and maintain quality facilities for learning through dedicated staff who optimize design, construction and maintenance processes.  We strive to provide safe, well built and cost effective learning environments for the purpose of educating the children of Madison County.
