Farm to School

In an attempt to encourage consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, Madison County Schools participates in the Farm to School program. This means whenever possible, we purchase produce that has been grown within the state of Alabama. Our system serves apples from Scott’s Orchard in Hazel Green, strawberries from Brown’s Farm in New Market and Whited Farms in Cullman, and sweet potatoes from Cullman.
