Education Technology

The goal of Madison County Schools is to integrate technology into the classroom seamlessly. The Instructional Technology Specialist works with both the IT Department and Instructional Department to ensure that teachers and students have the educational technology tools they need to be successful in and out of the classroom. The Instructional Technology Specialist also works to assist the district with implementation of Alabama's Digital Literacy and Computer Science Course of Study. Through a collaboration between the Instructional Technology Specialist and Digital Learning Partners (school based educators at each school with an aptitude for education technology) they help to provide coaching, professional learning, and other instructional assistance to all teachers and administrators in the school.
