I have been teaching full-time for eleven years and have spent all of this time at Sparkman. I am passionate about my job and, most importantly, my students. I love the diversity represented at this school, and truly believe we have the best students in Madison County!

Although I have lived in Alabama for nearly 16 years now, I'm still an Okie at heart. I graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism & Public Relations. BOOMER SOONER! I love my alma mater and have no shame representing here in SEC country. I also hold a Master's Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis on English and an Ed. S. in Administration Leadership. In addition, I am National Board Certified. I am continuously on a quest for knowledge and have a passion for learning. My teaching assignments allow me to share my knowledge regarding each of the things I hold dear and I am grateful for such an opportunity.

I am married to my junior high sweetheart, Greg, and we have three children - Camden, Avery, and Sawyer "JoJo". On the weekends, you can find us on the softball fields or in the gym. They keep us on our toes! In my minimal free time, I enjoy reading historical fiction and playing board games with my children. I also like to travel and I am always down for a good road trip!
