Ken Kubik, Superintendent
Kenneth Kubik was elected Superintendent of the Madison County School System in November 2022. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Southern Oregon University and earned a Master of Science Degree in Forensic Science from National University while working as a Police Officer in California. Upon completion of a Teaching Credential Program from Humboldt State University, he and his family relocated to Madison County, Alabama to begin his career as an educator. While teaching at Hazel Green Middle School, he earned a Master of Education Degree in Administration and Supervision from Tennessee State University and subsequently an Educational Specialist Degree from Jacksonville State University. Over his 25-year career, Mr. Kubik has served as an Educator, Coach, Assistant Principal, Coordinator of Secondary Education, Coordinator of Personnel and Pupil Services, Director of Personnel and Pupil Services, and Interim Superintendent. He is a member of the Alabama Association of Personnel Administrators, the Alabama Association of School Business Officials, and an alumnus of Leadership Huntsville/Madison County Class 28. Mr. Kubik is married to Jamie, who is the Madison County Virtual School Counselor, and together they have four sons, four granddaughters, and three grandsons.
