This is my 19th year teaching Family and Consumer Sciences. I often say it’s not what I do… It’s who I am. I love teaching about issues that affect individuals, families, and communities -- especially issues that relate to the basic needs of food, shelter, clothing, and relationships and how we can explore ways to make them better. I am a native of Monroeville, AL ‘the literary capital” of Alabama and the home of “To Kill a Mockingbird” author Harper Lee. I graduated from Alabama A&M University and made Huntsville/Madison County my home. I am married to JesHenry, and we have two children Matthew Henry and Sarah Elle. In my spare time I love to travel, read, and craft.
