In this club we will face many current events and topics that we agree and disagree with. We will discuss many viewpoints and give students the opportunity to debate with their peers on many topics facing the world and our nation. The club is driven to help students understand ideas and views that may be unlike their own and also allow for students to develop proper public speaking skills. The debate club’s goal is to allow students the opportunity to educationally agree/disagree with their peers based on intellectual thought process so that students can better understand how many societies think and act.

Grades: 7-12
