I am excited about teaching 4^th grade at MCES this year. This will be my 10^th year in education. I have taught all grades K-3 in the classroom and grades 1-5 reading intervention in other districts. I received a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Master’s in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M.

I live in Arab with my husband, Ben. In my spare time I enjoy reading, shopping, and listening to podcasts. My favorite quote is from Christopher Robin, “Promise me you’ll always remember that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
