Welcome to the Madison County School System, a fast-growing school district in north Alabama. Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Madison County offers a diverse culture with numerous educational and recreational amenities. The Madison County School System (MCSS) is one of North Alabama’s fastest-growing public school districts, serving more than 20,500 students across 30 campuses with the support of over 2,400 employees. Committed to providing high-quality learning experiences, MCSS offers a range of academic programs and support services that prepare all students for college, career, and future success.
